Non-owning span into driver-owned storage.

Note

Drivers SHOULD override and return a span over a static constexpr PinGroup kGroups[N] (or a member-owned table built at construction). The default returns an empty span — manager code falls back to legacy canHandle() for unmigrated drivers.
