How far above the target's own chroma the probes reach, in Q16.
The interval above the cap can start above the requested chroma – a bright near-neutral is infeasible precisely because it is not saturated enough – so a ceiling of one would find no seed on exactly the targets this is for. Four is a factor of the request rather than an absolute chroma, which keeps a near-neutral request near-neutral instead of answering it with a saturated colour.
