Protected constructor with registration mode.

Parameters

mode	Registration mode (AutoRegister or DeferRegister)

Note

Subclasses can use DeferRegister to control when they join the linked list. fl::Channel uses DeferRegister and joins the draw list when FastLED.add(ChannelPtr) calls addToList().
